Dust and dirt
Most people don’t think of dusting their dashboards, consoles, cup holders, rear window shelf or under the convertible top, (a great dust trap), etc. But, dust and common allergens collect inside the car and can be difficult to clean. One of the best ways to remove dust, dirt and common allergens is with a disposable moist cleaning cloth that captures the dirt rather than simply pushing it around. Keep some in your glove compartment for easy access.

Clean windows are not only aesthetically pleasing they are an important part of having a safe vehicle. Make sure to dry windows with a cotton rag using horizontal motions on the outside and a vertical motion on the inside, this way if you get streaks you’ll know which side to work on. Don’t forget to clean the sunroof, and rear view mirror to remove the film, smudges and streaks that can build up on them.

Wash your car and protect its finish
Wash your car once a week to protect against paint deterioration, acid rain and rust and to keep it looking its best. Do not use dish soap as this can leave spots, especially on a dark colored car, and can remove the car’s finish. For maximum protection and shine, apply a layer of wax after washing your car. Remember to protect the vinyl, plastic and rubber accessories from extreme weather conditions by using a vinyl protectant spray.
